Welcome to New World International School - Kindergarten Section!
Here you will find a warm and welcoming environment full of happy and confident children, and an environment that is both fun and engaging for our little young minds. Every week there is something exciting happening at the kindergarten: from Color Days, to International Week, Read-to-Me Week and many more events, all contributing to making our kindergarten a dynamic place in which to learn.
The New World School Kindergarten section is committed to active, reflective, creative learning that takes place in a safe nurturing environment enriched with encouragement and guidance. Our dedicated team focuses on developing in each child a love of learning, a strong sense of belonging, compassion for others and an appreciation of the amazing world around them.
We balance a rich academic environment with creative and purposeful play. We follow the British curriculum via a creative framework that produces academically motivated, physically active and emotionally supported students. Cooperative learning in the classroom ensures that each and every child is actively engaged in the learning process and lesson.
We are fortunate to have state of the art classrooms that are equipped with the latest technology smart boards and up-to-date teaching aids that support the children to develop skills of lifelong learning and enable them to realize their full potential. Academically, our curriculum focuses on the integration of STEM and STEAM activities into our lessons taught where the children are empowered to problem solve through questioning, exploring innovating, working collaboratively. Early exposure to STEM and STEAM supports overall academic growth and develops early critical thinking and reasoning skills, which are necessary to meet the changing needs of education in this 21st century.
We ensure that our children are central to the learning process as we lay the foundations of both academic and social learning. We are proud to house children from as many as 80 nationalities, thus creating a vibrant multicultural environment where the children learn to be global citizens who are accepting, empathetic, responsible individuals and who have an understanding of themselves, of others and of our world.
We recognise the important role you as a parent play as your child’s first educator and we endeavor to foster positive relationships between home and school as we partner in the education of your child. Our portal is updated with all the latest news and events at school. We have an open communication policy through the school and look forward to getting to know you and your children.
